As an OB/GYN consultant I first came to Qatar in 1988 and spent 16 years working at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital at Hamad Medical Corporation (until 2003). My time there enriched both my scientific knowledge and clinical practice, and allowed me to build meaningful relationships with many colleagues and patients.  

In 2003 I moved to start a private OB/GYN clinic. The clinic rapidly gained an excellent reputation due to the high standards of care, professional expertise, and advanced medical equipment used. This encouraged me in 2004 to introduce a Physiotherapy Unit — the first of its kind in Qatar to offer specialized sports and fitness programs tailored for pregnancy and the postpartum period.

A major milestone came in 2008 when the clinic evolved into a full medical facility under the name Al-Hayat Medical Center. Today, the center includes six specialized OB/GYN clinics, alongside clinics for Urology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Internal Medicine and Neurology, Cardiology, Radiology, Dentistry, as well as a Physiotherapy Unit and an in-house pharmacy, Al-Hayat Medical Center provides excellent medical services to Qatari residents whose number is growing in the recent years due to the massive renaissance the country is witnessing under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
