Al Hayat Medical Center Mobile Application

This Privacy Policy explains how Al Hayat Medical Center (AHMC) collects, uses, protects, and manages personal information when you use the Al Hayat Medical Center Mobile Application. The policy applies only to the mobile application and its related digital services.

This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with applicable laws of the State of Qatar, including Law No. (13) of 2016 concerning Personal Data Privacy Protection, applicable Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) requirements, and the privacy requirements of Google Play and the Apple App Store.

  • Personal Information: Full name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, gender, nationality, Qatar ID/Passport (where applicable), address and emergency contact information.
  • Application Information: Appointment information, prescription information, laboratory report availability, radiology report availability, insurance information and profile information required to use the Application.
  • Technical Information: Device type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers, application logs, authentication records and security information.

2. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Your consent.
  • Providing digital healthcare support services requested through the Application.
  • Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Protection of vital interests.
  • Legitimate interests relating to service improvement, fraud prevention and information security.

3. Purpose of Processing

  • Schedule, confirm and manage appointments.
  • Display appointment, prescription, laboratory, radiology and insurance information linked to your account.
  • Send appointment reminders and service notifications.
  • Enable secure communication between patients and Al Hayat Medical Center.
  • Maintain the security, availability and performance of the Application.
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

4. Consent

  • By using the Application you consent to the collection and processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
  • You may withdraw consent where permitted by law; however, this may affect certain Application features.
